JBL Clip 4

The JBL Clip 4 was made by Harman International Industries, which is a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics. Harman International Industries has been a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics since 2017. Harman International Industries is known for designing connected products, infotainment systems, and audio solutions for Samsung. They are well known for products brands that they have produced like JBL.

The JBL clip 4 makes claims on improving the charger, enhancing water/dustproofing with a rating of IP67, and improving audio, by removing the 3.5mm input and speakerphone functionality. They also changed the shape of the speaker to a more oval shape to improve durability, and improved the design of the carburetor. They also improved upon the Clip 3 by having better sound quality, having USB-C charging, and having Bluetooth version 5.1 It still has the same battery life as the Clip 3, lasting a total of 10 hours when fully charged.

Some common complaints about the JBL Clip 4 are the overly sensitive power button, the rubber peeling of the speakers, and audio lag for videos.

The JBL Clip 4 was replaced by the JBL Clip 5 in June 2024.

On the side of this model of JBL Clip, on the carabiner opposite to the Bluetooth button, it will say Clip 4.
