System will not detect camera after software installation

Software will install but cannot detect connected camera

Faulty network cable

Firstly, try refreshing the software on your computer. If the problem continues, there could be a problem with the standard ethernet cable that connects the camera to the computer. If the camera connects when you use the new ethernet cable, the first one was damaged.

Faulty network input plug

If that doesn't work, there could be a problem with the ethernet port on your computer. Try connecting the ethernet cable to a different computer or a laptop. If the camera connects with the laptop, you need to refer to your laptop repair guide to replace the ethernet port on your computer.

Camera motherboard connection broken

If there is still a problem after trying the last two solutions, there is a problem with the motherboard connection. This means the motherboard needs to be replaced using this guide.

Cannot view camera on internet browser

Camera is detected by computer but cannot be viewed in the camera's software

Camera format not supported on browser

First, follow the instruction manual to make sure everything is installed correctly. If there are no problems with that, you might want to try a different internet browser. For example, if you are using Firefox, try using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome as a web browser and see if that solves the problem.

Camera lens is broken

If the camera connects to the computer, but no picture comes up, there could be something wrong with the lens. Ether the lens is physically broken, or there could be faulty wires connecting the camera lens to the motherboard. The whole camera head may need to be replaced using this guide.

Camera will not rotate on command

Camera is detected by computer and picture can be viewed but will not rotate on axes

System software not responding

This problem could be resolved by simply restarting the camera and the software on the computer. Try that first.

Input device not connecting to camera Wi-Fi

If you are using wireless connection to the computer, the camera might not be connected to your Wi-Fi router. Try resetting the router. If the camera still does not connect to the router, then there is a problem with the Wi-Fi antenna on the camera.

If you replace the antenna and the device still won't connect, then there is something wrong with the antenna input inside of the camera. This part can be replaced using this guide.

Motor is broken

If the camera still will not rotate after you have restarted the software on your computer, and there is nothing wrong with the Wi-Fi connection, there is something wrong inside the camera. You will have to replace the motor that makes the camera rotate using this guide.

Camera will not pick up sound

When playing back video file, there is no sound audible

Microphone broken

Firstly, make sure there is nothing wrong with the sound on your computer. If there is still no sound, there camera microphone might be damaged, and may need to be replaced using this guide.
