Background
The Astro A50 2016, the third generation of its kind, was released in October, 2016. It is a wireless gaming headset and comes with a base station for PCs and XBox One/PS4.). The headset features 7.1 Dolby Headphone Surround Sound, engineered to deliver the sound from where it is virtually located. It comes with a microphone, operates at 5 GHz and lasts up to 15 hours without charging.
The headsets use the base station to pair with the gaming console and charges while on the base station. The base station gives you to access the Astro Command Center, which allows you to customize EQ presets, adjust microphone levels and more.
Identification
The Astro A50 (2016) is black with bright green accents on the headband. "A50" is printed in green on the outside of one earcup, while the Astro star logo appears on the other. The included base station is also black with green accents. You can identify your device by the model number and other product information printed on a label on the bottom of the base station.
