Astro A50 2016 Headset Speakers Replacement

Introduction

Speakers may get damaged or stop producing sound. This guide will help you replace your headset's speakers. The removal process is the same for both the left and right speakers.

What you need

    • Remove the magnetic ear pads by gently pulling them away from the headset. Be careful not to remove the left earpad, which houses the microphone, and ensure you're only removing the right earpad.

    • Squeeze the plastic opening tool between the black plastic and foam pad on non mic side and then pry upwards to remove the felt pads covering the speaker.

    • Remove the four 6mm Phillips 1 screws.

    • Lift the speaker module up off the device.

Awesome, but I don’t believe see anywhere on how to fix the mic as it rotates 360 free spinning rather than locking in the 90° talk and mute positions…?

this is almost no solution, your cover is broken, there is stop on plastic cover.
