Tools

These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.

Background

The 51BL29 Waring Blender was made in celebration of the 60th anniversary. This is indicated on the front plaque, where “Sixty Years of Quality” is printed. This version was made to resemble one of Waring’s older blenders. The motor is 120 Volts AC 60 Hz 3.0 Amps and is equipped with two speed settings and a pulse setting, as seen from the toggle switch and the black pulse button below it. Seeing as it is a 60th anniversary blender, this blender was only in production for a short time. It is no longer available in stores or on the Waring website and therefore has very little information regarding its repair, replacement parts, or common problems.

Identification

The Waring 51BL29 blender features a chrome base and a 5-cup (40-ounce) glass carafe with markings for both cups and ounces. The Waring logo is printed on the plaque on the front of the base, to the right of the power switch. You can find the model number and other product information printed on a white label on the bottom of the blender.
