The Sennheiser Accentum Wireless headphones first became available for pre order in September 26, 2023. Their initial price was $179.95. With Sennheiser being a German company the headphones were also released in Europe where they were sold for €179.90 One of the big selling points of the headphones was their 50-hour battery life. The headphones were also marketed as being comfortable to wear due to their ear cushions. Sennheiser would go on to release several other products related to these headphones such as a plus version and a special edition that featured a dongle that would allow for better synchronization with other electronics.

While the headphones get mostly positive reviews; some users report problems with their headphones. In their reviews on the Best Buy website several users report that the fabric covering the headphones' ear pads falls off easily. Another complaint that several users shared was that the headphone's max volume was not high enough for their liking. Several others mentioned the headphones had poor connection when they attempted to connect them to smart TVs. Some users on both Walmart's and Best Buy's website complain of the headphones not lasting the full 50 hours as advertised.

Some identifying features of the Sennheiser Accentum Wireless headphones include color, logo, features, and packaging. The Accentum Wireless Headphones come in 4 colors: white (shown in the photos in this guide), black, black with blue accents, and pink. The Sennheiser logo is placed on the crown of the headset, just above each earpiece. The Accentum Series consists of 3 models including the base model, the plus, and the special edition. These replacement guides are specifically for the base model. The models can be distinguished by features and accessories including adaptive ANC, auto-pause/play, touch sensitive ear cups, and a carrying case.
