    • Gently pull up on the affected ear pad to remove it.

    • Remove the four black foam screw covers.

    • Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to unscrew the screws on each earpiece. Each earpiece holds four, 6 mm screws.

    • The left earpiece holds the battery (the right earpiece holds the motherboard and buttons).

    • Desolder the battery from the circuit board.

    • Use a hair dryer to heat the rear of the left headphone to help loosen the foam adhesive holding the battery in place.

    • Carefully pry the battery out.

    • Take care not to bend, warp, or puncture the battery during removal.
