Background
The Samsung SGH-E317 is a basic flip phone introduced in July of 2004. The 3.3 x 1.8 x 0.9 inch phone opens up to a 128 x 160 pixel color LCD screen. It weighs 3 oz, with a built-in external antenna and a secondary display on the outside that shows the time and other phone information. The phone has a LiIon battery with 282 minutes of maximum talk time and 12.4 days of standby time. It has storage availability of up to 500 contacts plus sim card memory. It comes in two color options of black/silver or silver/silver.
