Tools
These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.
Background
The Neato XV-21 robot vacuum comes with black magnetic strips, a wireless charger, and two extra roller brushes.
It is a robot vacuum marketed for picking up pet hair and dander, and was one of the first models available from the company.
Although there have been no recalls for this device, consumers have reported several problems, including difficulty finding the battery pack, erratic movement and collisions with objects, random dustpan ejection, and failure to power on.
Identification
One easy way to identify this product is by its gray body with purple, black, and orange details. Another is its shape: the robot is flat on one end and rounded on the other. The rounded end is closest to the screen and Neato logo and connects to the charger. You can find product information on the original packaging, instruction manual, or the bottom of the device.
