Skytex Skypad Alpha 2 Troubleshooting

Nothing happens when you try plugging the tablet into a power source.

Make sure the charging-cord is not severed in any way, if so try using a new one.

See "How To Restart My Tablet".

The battery in the tablet could be broken and it may need replacing.

Screen will start up, but interactions will not register.

Gently rub the screen with a cleaner, using a soft fabric or microfiber cloth.

Attempt to restart the tablet, see “How To Restart My Tablet”. If this fails the motherboard may need replacing.

If none of the above fixes your issue then the screen may need replacing.

Sound associated with music or video will not work.

Go into settings on the tablet. Make sure the sound is not muted.

Attempt the restart the tablet, see "How To Restart My Tablet".

If sound still isn’t coming from the speaker then it may need replacing.

Sound on your recordings or video chat is not registering into the microphone.

Go into settings on the tablet. Make sure the sound is not muted.

Inspect the microphone port on the bottom of the tablet. Clean with a fine tool, use soft fabric if necessary.

Attempt to restart the tablet, see "How To Restart My Tablet".

If sound still is not registering into the microphone it needs to be replaced.

Camera is not functioning properly or pictures come out blurry.

Gently rub the lens with a soft fabric; use cleaner if necessary.

Attempt to restart the tablet, see “How To Restart My Tablet”.

The pictures still appear blurry or do not come out at all; the camera lens needs to be replaced.

Network signal or wifi connection is being spotty or not working at all.

Go into the settings on the tablet; make sure the wifi finder is turned on.

As this is most likely a network problem, be sure to check that the network you are trying to connect to is running properly.

Attempt to restart the tablet, see "How To Restart My Tablet".

If none of the above fixes your issue then the antenna may need replacing.

You must first disconnect the tablet from the power source if necessary. Press and hold the power button, a pop-up menu of options will appear. Touch “Power off” and then “OK”. Pressing and holding the power button when the tablet is shut off will turn the tablet back on.
