Background
The VTechCS6719- 16 is a cordless expandable handset that utilizes DECT 6.0 platform technology. This phone is similar to others in the line. It's able to provide superior sound quality with less interference from wireless networks. It also has an improved range without an increase in power consumption. Because this is part of an expandable handset additional handsets can be added to the network simply without the use of additional phone jacks. The VTechCS6719-16 also boasts some features recognizable in other higher end cordless phones such as ECO mode, caller ID, and silent mode.
Identification
The VTech CS6719-16 is identifiable by its smooth, rectangular design. It typically features a black upper half with an interchangeable colored handset body and base. The VTech logo is printed above the LCD on the handset and on the right side of the base unit. The model and serial numbers are embossed on the bottom of the base unit.
