Background

The Olympus TG-820 iHS is a video and digital camera. The 820 edition of the TG series Olympus was released in 2012 and is still available online, but is no longer in production as it was succeeded by the later TG editions. The TG-820 iHS was designed to withstand any weather as it can perform below-freezing and below water, as deep as 33 feet under. Additionally, the 820 is able to withstand a 6.6-foot drop and 220 pounds of pressure with its shock-absorbing exterior. To see more on this product see links at the bottom of this page under "Additional Information".

Identification

The Olympus TG-820 iHS has the Olympus logo printed horizontally near the left edge of the textured grip on the front of the camera, with “Touch” printed in white closer to the center of the front casing. The model and serial numbers are printed on a label on the bottom of the camera, next to the tripod socket.
