Position sensor for LG Wt5680HWA TOP LOADING WASHER

I’m getting an LE code. When I start a wash, the tub spins slowly and fidgets a lot, apparently trying to sense the load. It does this for about five minutes and then throws the code. If I unplugged the machine, the tub is easy to spin with my hand. I got underneath the unit and removed the main bolt, rotor assembly, and stator. My thinking was that it is the HALL position sensor. I ordered the one online that is suggested. Work with this machine. However, when I removed the stator, there is no HALL sensor attached to it, nor is there a plug coming from the machine that would plug into one. The only plug is the one that goes directly into the stator. This machine is supposed to have that sensor, but this one clearly doesn’t. I’m wondering if LG produced some of these machines without that sensor. But nothing online suggests that this unit should be sensor less. I am completely stumped. Thoughts?

Hi @erikmeitzner

Looking at wiring diagram and testing information on p.42 → p.44 of the service manual there should be a sensor on the stator.

Check if there's a harness cable plugged into the NA1 plug connector on the main control board. If there is you may have to trace the cable to see where it goes.
