Hi, I have a PSP e1004 (Street model). I'm having a problem with the backlight. The display works fine with a flashlight, but the backlight isn't working properly. I replaced the backlight circuit fuse, but the problem remains the same: the backlight isn't working. What could be the cause?
I checked the soldered fuse with a multimeter, and it was soldered correctly.

Are you sure that this fuse is all OK?
Otherwise you could try another screen to see if that fix the issue, if the fuse is OK.

I replaced the fuse, and after checking the entire board, I noticed a single pin on the flat connector port was displaced and touching another pin. I fixed it with a small needle and a microscope, and now the backlight is working properly again.

How are the traces near the fuse? All look good?
Also, did you tried another screen? It could be the backlight in the screen itself.
