Will this cause any issues?

My impatience will the end of me I noticed a scratch on the top of the board will this cause me issues?

I'd say not; that appears to just be a scratch on the protective solder mask coating. It doesn't look to me that the underlying copper trace is damaged to any real extent, and even if it's scratched through, you're looking at a large ground plane that has more than enough electrical continuity that it wouldn't matter.

If you wanted to be paranoid about it, you could buy a tube of liquid UV-cured solder mask and cover the scratch, but unless your controller is exposed to a corrosive atmosphere, there's little chance it's going to cause you any problems. Otherwise you could always coat it with some non-conductive sealant like epoxy, silicone sealant, or even hot glue. Or a strip of electrical tape would keep it from shorting if there's anything close to it that could make contact.

Long story short, you should be okay.
