Charging light but power button does nothing

Hi

I have a 2ds XL that won't turn on, it charges fine and I have tried a known working battery with no luck, the blue light never comes on, I have checked the 2 fuses and they have continuity, I did check for vaultage on the power button but it doesn't seem to be getting any power when pressed, but it gets continuity, wondering where and how I should test from here

Hi!

You have tested a lot already. Since the battery and fuses are OK, it would be difficult to find where the fault is.

Must be somewhere in the power area near the battery. The power button should work when it gives continuity.

How are the battery pins? Still good? No corrosion?

It could be a lot of things. I think it's easier (I know, it's more expensive..) to get a new motherboard.

Well it's more of a want to learn more than a need to fix it lol, guess I just need to learn to follow traces and check where the vaultage stops at this point
