Could be either faulty suspension springs and possibly the counterbalance springs as well.
Here are videos that shows how to replace the suspension springs and the counter balance springs that may help so that you can check if they're OK or not.
If replacement parts are needed, search online for WP63907 (suspension spring part number) or 285901 (counter balance spring part number) to find suppliers that suit you best.

Kenmore sells a LOT of washing machines, and Sears doesn't actually make their own, so that means several manufacturers as well. We can't really give you good advice without knowing which one you have, so please edit your question or add a comment letting us know what the model number on your washer is.
