Cannot receive text messages

You are able to send text messages but cannot receive them.

Text message memory is set too low

Memory limit for text messages can be adjusted by doing the following:

  1. Go to Messaging
  2. Go to Menus
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Go to Text Message Limit and adjust the limit

Text message memory is at full capacity

If text message limit has already been adjusted to its maximum, and you still cannot receive incoming messages, delete existing messages to create more room for memory.

Device locked

Unable to unlock phone with either pattern unlock or password

Too many failed attempts to unlock the device

Instead of using your regular password or swipe pattern, use the default password for the pattern lock. For the username, enter your Gmail username, and for the password enter: null. This should unlock the device.
