Tablet won't turn on

Your tablet won't turn on even if it is fully charged.

Drained Battery

Before opening your device, make sure the battery is fully charged. If it is, read on.

Device won't turn on even when plugged directly into the wall

Try plugging your tablet directly into the wall. If it still will not turn on, it may have a faulty connection within the device. You will have to remove the back cover and check the wiring. If all the wiring is in place, read on.

Battery life is poor

If the device still will not turn on, the battery is probably faulty and the battery will need to be replaced using this guide..

Battery life is very short

Battery life is shorter than what the the manufacturers specify.

Too many running programs

There may be a lot of programs running, causing battery life to be shortened. Try closing the programs that you are not using to see if this increases battery life.

Faulty Battery

The battery may be faulty and will need to be replaced using this guide

No audio or distorted audio through audio jack

Your tablet operates properly and appears to work, but when you plug in headphones or speakers, there is no audio

Faulty headphones or speakers

While this is unlikely, try your tablet with another set of headphones or speakers to eliminate this as the source of the problem right at the beginning.

Faulty audio jack

A bad audio jack is the most likely cause of the problem and will need to be replaced using this guide.

Camera won't turn on

Camera won't turn on when you select the camera app

Operating system error

There may be an operating system error that is causing your camera not to initialize. Try restarting your tablet and reopening the app.

Faulty Camera

More than likely, the camera in the tablet is bad and will need to be replaced using this guide.

No audio/distorted audio from internal speaker

Volume is turned off

Make sure the volume for the speaker is turned up so you can hear it.

Connected to a Bluetooth source

Make sure the device is not connected to a external Bluetooth source.

Faulty internal speaker

If there is still no (or distorted) sound coming from the speaker in your tablet, it is likely the internal speaker is broken and will need to be replaced using this guide.

Touchscreen input not responsive

Your tablet is not recognizing the touch input on the front panel.

Faulty touch screen

It may be possible that the touch screen is bad. If so, the screen will need to be replaced using this guide.

Faulty logic board

If replacing the screen doesn't work, the logic board will need to be replaced using this guide.
