Revamping my trusty Macbook Pro
My Problem
My original battery had over 1500 cycles and could barely hold enough charge for an hour of notes in class. Aside from the battery I was still happy with my machine so I decided to fix it. Its an Intel-based Macbook pro so I had to open it to change it. While I had it open I also changed the the hard drive to an SSD and plan on swapping the optical drive for more storage.
My Fix
The repair went flawlessly. It couldn't have been easier.
My Advice
Have the right tools on hand to ensure this repair goes smoothly.
