What you need

  1. Mitsubishi MMCS NR-242 Firmware Update, Identify your Revision: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • You can find the Version Number of your MMCS printed on the top right corner of the unit.

    • In this case the Version Number is W-12.

    • You can download the firmware files here: Version CR, CZ and CI.

    • Check if the Firmware Version works with your device.

    • MMCS E-11 and E-12 are analogues of W-13.

    • Download the Firmware for your device.

    • Press on SHOW ALL.

    • Download LOADING.KWI.

    • The SD card needs to be formatted to FAT32. If it’s not already formatted to FAT32 and you don’t know how to do it, you can take a look at this guide.

    • Copy the LOADING.KWI file to the root directory of the SD Card.

    • Press the OPEN-Button.

    • Press the Monitor OPEN-Button on the screen.

    • Insert the SD Card into the USER-Slot.

    • Close the display by pressing the OPEN-Button again.

    • The Unit will automatically detect the Firmware file and ask you if you want to update.

    • Press the Update-Button on the screen to proceed.

    • Do not turn off the car while the update is running!

    • After the update is finished, remove the SD Card by repeating Step 4 and 5.

Un saludo Sebastián, José María de Cádiz, quiero actualizar los mapas de mi Mitsubishi Outlander 2017, mi equipo W-15, al entrar al enlace que pones como hacerlo, me sale que está desconectado temporalmente , otro enlace para poder descargar mapas y archivos del Sistema, para actualizarlo?...gracias

Hola José María, lamentablemente el archivo en Internet Archive en mantenimiento durante los próximos días debido a una reciente violación de datos. Los archivos que buscas también están disponibles en una página rusa llamada MMC Manuals, pero te recomendaría esperar hasta que el Internet Archive línea vuelva a estar disponible para una descarga más segura.
