No boot - slow light blink

Hi everyone!

I'm new and i just got this laptop used and for parts. the seller removed the SSD and the laptop doesn't boot, the power lamp on the button just blinks. i've established charging is OK, the charger lamp went orange and then white, indicating it charged the battery, but i can't find any information on why it won't power on. no output to either the internal display, or external over HDMI. keystrokes or keyboard combinations do nothing. no beeps. any tips are appreciated!

Lenovo Ideapad 3 15ARE05

Ryzen 5 4500u, 8GB RAM (i assume soldered), no SSD
