For the E7250, you’ll want to remove the battery and bottom cover first and see how the charging port is connected. On these, the port can be a separate part, but you’ll want to confirm before pulling anything apart.
If you can post a photo of the port and where it connects to the motherboard, someone should be able to point you to the exact part and teardown steps.

@aaronyetimese use the Dell Latitude E7250 Owners Manual to work on your computer. Dell includes the maintenance manual in their owners manual. You can also use something like this video to replace the DC-in jack.
While you work on your laptop, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same issues with their laptop. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
