Clock no longer stays current

I have my music studio m2 mini connected to a rack-mounted power line conditioner, which I turn off when Ieave. Often it is left off for days or even a few weeks. Recently, I have had to leave the power conditioner on to preserve the clock setting. Is there a replaceable battery in there? Is this indication of a more expensive problem?

Yes! There is a battery to hold the clocks settings. Review this page fro App,e Self Service Repair Manual CMOS Battery here's the full manual 2023 M2 Mac Mini service Manual. You should grab a fresh BR1632A battery before you open the system. It's easy to get to once the cover is off.
