Touchscreen not working with the original display

I dropped my phone with one of the bottom corners. Back glass shattered but the display wasn't damaged. When i checked the display it didn't turn on. SO i opened the phone, and reconnected the cable at the bottom right corner, and the display started working, but the touchscreen is still not working. I checked everywhere for any disconnections or improper connections, but couldn't find any. I need to know which cables to check thoroughly, any help?
