The car is not starting
The car was starting and then went to having to kick start it and now it's not starting even when we kick-start it.

Kick start? Do you mean push starting manual transmission? Year, model, engine, mileage, maintenance performed? Without more info, anyone can throw out (expensive?) guesses; dead battery, severely corroded battery cables, loose battery connections, faulty fuel pump, faulty ignition system, compression loss, blown fuses, faulty alternator, faulty wiring, etc.
