Has anyboday had any success in obtaining replacement ribbon cables for the steam machine? I contacted Steam / Valve, no help there. when searching for replacement it seems I'm not the first person to damage this cable!

If you have some soldering equipment I only found replacement connectors which you could solder onto your ribbon cable.
