Engine only runs normally when upside down.
My trimmer will start with no issue. However, after starting, it will bog down when the throttle is applied. If I turn the unit upside down, it runs normally. Any ideas?
Is this a good question?

As a 2-stroke engine using a premix of gas and oil, the fuel pickup tube has a weighted (brass?) end on the flexible fuel line to stay at the bottom, whichever way the trimmer is held, even upside down. The weight ensures fuel pickup always pulls fuel wherever it settles in the tank. If the weight comes off, the fuel line will float and may ingest air along with fuel. This can lead to fuel starvation. If the weight is attached, move on to other troubleshooting,
When was the air filter cleaned, replaced? Spark plug checked/replaced? Carburetor cleaned, adjusted? Throttle linkage checked for proper operation?
