Spilled coke on my mac

Yesterday night I accidentally spilled about 200 ml of coke on my mac's keyboard and some on trackpad..i powered it off immediately..wiped it off with a towel immediately and and then with a clean slightly wet like just barely wet microfiber cloth..it turned on a few times in the process but I powerd it off again and again..and left it like this for 10 hours then while moving it opened accidentally but then I checked it and it is working completely fine and quickly ran a diagnostic test on it too and everything was fine..i have left it in the tent up position for now

Ouch! This is not good! Coke is corrosive and the sugars tend to get things sticky and can feed mold!

So while it appears to be working now the clock is ticking! Do you have AppleCare? If you still do time to visit Apple as they are obliged to repair the system (double check your contract as Apple did alter it last year). Don't let it lapse!

If you don't then you'll need to find a good independent who has the skills to go in and clean things up, they will likely need to replace a few parts so don't be surprised.

Ooooh, no good! Just as @danj already said, that coke is no good and you will need to do further cleaning for it! Even worse, Aluminum and Coke isn't a good mix, as the aluminum will dissolve! Hurry up and grab some Isopropyl Alcohol 99%+, open up that MacBook, and get scrubbing! Or, if you still have AppleCare, visit Apple so that they can help you repair it! Hurry! The clock is ticking!
