capcut keeps crashin and need assistance

the capcut app keeps crashing when reducing noise or exporting audio only files from aac to mp4 and aac

the necessary steps was taken and yet capcut still crashing why is this occurring

the steps taken is on Windows (PC).

  • already cleared the %AppData% cache.
  • disabled hardware encoding.
  • The crash happens specifically when using Noise Reduction on a blank-screen project or even exporting aac only file to mp4 and aac files.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? Before doing that, have you verified that all your drivers are up to date? I would upgrade the GPU for starters. I wonder if Capcut is attempting to access your GPU or other hardware during the encoding/exporting of those files and that handoff is causing the crash. I like to go directly to the vendor's site to get the latest drivers vs the OEM, in your case HP.

i have a fairly new laptop from 24 I think so the gpu is not that old and yes I did the uninstall and reinstall and nowt

@matt99712 I apologize for the delay. Are you still having the same issue? If so, I failed to mention attempting to fix the Windows installation by running sfc /scannow from cmd prompt. Run the cmd prompt as admin. Reboot once it's done.
