Had this issue on my monitor before. Try shining a flashlight at the screen, if you can barely see the picture then the backlight is probably dead. I’d also check the power cable first tho, mine was just a loose connection.

@anthonsireo how did you check the backlight? Could be a blown fuse on the motherboard, could be a bad display cable etc. WE will need to know how you determined that it is the backlight before we can go to the next step, which would be how to diagnose what part of the backlight circuitry has failed.
