My Device is KG251Q.

My Device is KG251Q, is the same steps to perfoming dessassembling?

Update (07/09/26)

My Acer monitor, model KG251K, has started showing horizontal lines on the screen after a power supply failure while in use. I am tracing the problem, and how do I fix it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@flavio19026 what same steps for disassembling which device? You did not tell us what disassembly you have checked out.

What is going on with your KG251Q?

@oldturkey03 I assume they mean the disassembly for Acer G247HLbid

@alberteinst6187 it's possibly but I prefer to know for sure. That way we can always focus on giving the right information about the right device. I don't like to rewrite things because it can become confusing. It's just easier for me to clarify upfront and then see if I have an answer :-)

@flavio19026 first thing you want to do is use this Acer Monitor KG251Q to help you with the disassembly.

Schematics for this model seem to be completely elusive, so you will need to get it opened up and take a close look at the power board and the video board to see what you find. This specific monitor is known to have capacitors that fail over time, so you want to check the power board closely for any domed, bulging, or leaking caps.

Post some good, high-resolution pictures of those boards with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question to add them to your question.
