What is the compacity limit? i need one for a 4TB what TB does it cap at?

As long as the SSD is an M.2 stick that physically fits (some have sizable mounted heat sinks intended for a desktop) than it will work. The M.2 NVMe/PCIe standard does not define a storage limit.
