My phone is not charging

try cleaning out the charging port, also try using verifying that it is not the cable, brick or wall socket that is faulty.

If none of that works then you probably need a component or multiple to be replaced.

@nidafaisal start of with the basics. First check your charger. Make sure it has proper output. Then check your charging cable. Check to make sure connectors are not bend etc. After that, check the charging port. Clean it of any debris etc, use a few puffs of air to clean it out. If none of this works, get a USB ammeter and see if your phone draws any amperage from the charger. If it does not it is possible that this is a charging port issue or a bad battery.

Since iFixit does not yet have any guides for this, use something like this video Replace the battery and teh charging board at the same time. That way, you won't have to open it again anytime soon. also, check the ribbon cable from the charging board to the main boar for any rips, corrosion and micro tears.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
