HI Alyssa,

Naturally you'll need a basic set of wrenches and sockets, but your front wheels utilize McPherson struts, where the shock absorber is an integral part of the suspension. For that you'll need a coil spring compressor in order to take the spring tension off the strut in order to remove it. Oh, and reading the guide, it appears you may need a set of hex key wrenches too. This guide may not be exact since you didn't give us the year and submodel, so I randomly chose a 2001 LX model; you can follow the same links once you've selected the exact year and submodel of yours.

The rear is a lot easier since it uses a standard shock absorber there; basically you take out two bolts and you're done removing it. Here's a page for that same model showing you how.

The manual notes that you should have the front end alignment checked and adjusted if necessary after replacing the front struts. I've personally never done that, but they're the experts, not me.

Good luck, and be sure to come back and let us know how it all works out for you!
