Does the provided battery fit?
The page links to a lenovo battery, 99Wh but the laptop battery is 74Wh. I think it might be too long

You are correct it won't fit. The L22D4PC3 battery is used in a Legion Slim 7 model laptop.
Don't know about the difference in length but the battery for your model has only 4 screw mounts whereas the battery shown by ifixit has 6.
For your model, search online for any of the Lenovo part numbers for a compatible battery as shown in the image below to find suppliers that suit you best.
Here's the hardware maintenance manual for your model.
Go to the bottom of p.37 (43 of 70 pdf) to view the procedure to remove/replace the battery.
