Why is my car not starting?
New battery put on but car doesn't make any sound when trying to start. Displays come on except for the gears.

@tracyenick besides the battery, let us know what you have already checked. Start by checking fuse #12 fuse in the under the hood fuse box. Also, let u know the exact year and engine size for your Cruze.

@tracyenick I assume it's an automatic. I would check the neutral safety switch and see if that engages properly. Of course, you will also need to check your starter to see if that gets power at all and if the solenoid gets activated by the key. It could be something as simple as the starter relay. Check the power to the relay if you checked the relay and found it is working.
Use the Starting Circuit diagram (this one is for a 2011 which is essentially the same for the 08-15) to check things further. I've checked the systems I would be looking at with an arrow so as to not completely confuse you :-)

All fuses and relays have been checked- all were good.
