Need Help identifying and looking for replacement part

Block Image

Hello! this controller was my first attempt at repairing and i accidently touched the plastic socket with the soldering iron. im trying to find the name of the socket on the controller that the trigger ribbon inserts into. i can't tell if it's the same as the microphone socket. Below is a link to aliexpress with a similar looking part to it but just in white and wondering if i can just use that. Thank you in advance!

Hi!

Yes you can use the white one. Color doesn’t matter. The 16 pin one is the one you need.

But first, count the pins on the controller, just to be sure if it really is 16 pin!! Confirm it first.

Also, you can contact the seller and ask for which revisions they are meant.

In short: most likely you need the 16 pin yeah.

Please let us know how it goes!

Hello! Thanks for responding! Counted the pins and it seems be a 6 pin. Guess V5, Motherboard Model BDM-050M uses a the smaller version instead of the 16 pin. the Part will take some time to arrive. Hopefully it all goes well and i remember to report back. Have a great day!

Ah sorry! The V5 is indeed using smaller ones. Hopefully it will arrive soon, so that you can repair it :). Have a great day as well!
