iOS system update - out of memory

I seem to be unable to update the operating system - because there is not enough memory available. How can I update my operating system now?

You can always try updating your ipad via itunes if you have a windows laptop or just connecting it to an macbook/mac and updating it then.

See if you can delete some unused apps and data (Try to clear a couple gig for best results). It sounds like your iPad storage is full. You need to free up space to upgrade the software. Then with your iPad plugged in, you should be able to update it through it's Settings|General|Software Update menu.
