Why my camara keeps failing
My camara won't access keeps saying camara failed when I press my icon?

@matthewdemilly place your phone in safe mode and see if you can now use your camera. If you can then the issue is related to some 3rd party software that prevents your camera from responding. you will need to find and delete that software. If your camera also does not work in safe mode, it most likely has failed.
Of course, you can also enter the general test code :
*#0*#
which should allow you to test your camera.
Since iFixit doesn't yet have a specific guide for this, use something like this video right up to 2:10. It'll show you how to work on removing your cameras, since you did not specify which one does not work.
While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
