Stock SSD "Uninitialized' / Missing in Disk Utility
How do I get this internal SSD back to normality or is it done?
33kb Volume only is displayed. Unable to partition or erase.
Attempting to install Catalina on a unit that previously had Catalina installed.
Ignore the other drive that is highlighted as that is my external multi installer drive.
It is the same thing with another SSD except the other drive isn't listed at all, just the base system. Failed drives?
Windows was never installed on either of these drives, this has been confirmed by previous owners.
This is relevant to my other post 3x 64 GB SSD - Q Folder @ Boot
UPDATE: Tried with a Windows installer.
SSD (1) Gave me this:
SSD (2) Gave me this:
After hitting OK it rebooted to the Q folder.
Is this a good question?
What do you see on the internal SandForce drive when you high light it? Need to see the format data.

@danj It is just 33kb in size, nothing there, I tried to erase and format to OSExJ GUID but it made no difference. Partition option is greyed out.

@livfe - Sadly the SSD boot blocks are damaged, I have managed to use a Windows system to wipe a drive to then reuse. I was looking at the partition and format data of the drive to be sure.
I'm suspecting you got a virus onto the boot drive.

@danj "'m suspecting you got a virus onto the boot drive." - A virus on 2 drives from different units? Not sure what your saying here. I will try installing Windows to see if that can help.... or whatever..... Updated the question with Windows info.

@livfe - Didn't your Build drive also fail? That's the one that could have started the mess!
Sorry the drives are gone! Give this a read: iMac infected with virus that creates hidden windows partition, won’t boot from USB or internet recovery
