My phone is no longer using my voice to text or search on any app or google apps , I cant figure out why and have run through different resets. Can the mic go out or break, I have no idea what to think. Help

If you can make phone calls and record videos (with sound, of course), then your microphones should be working. You can verify this with the built in diagnostic tests; this page from Samsung shows you how. You can run just the Mic test or all of them if you want.

If the mic tests pass, then you're looking at a software issue, which isn't really in iFixit's wheelhouse; they're much more of a hardware repair forum. I'd suggest trying some the Samsung forums out there to see if anyone else has run into a similar issue. Here are a few to get you started.

Thank you for the suggestion, I did a self diagnoses on the mic system. This phone has 2 mics and one of the mics is not picking up sound. Luckily I purchased the insurance and I will be able to get a replacement.
@jtpowersmusic Depending on which microphone it is that's failed, it may be fortunate you have insurance. The lower one is on a daughter card that is fairly cheap and not too difficult to replace, but it looks like the upper one is mounted on the motherboard, which would cost a fair penny if you had to replace it.
Thanks for telling us your test results; that does pretty much confirm it's a hardware issue and not software.
