Like @rodolfomeave, I'm not familiar with your particular vacuum, but I had the same issue with a Harbor Freight shop vac.

By testing the power going to the fan motor, I finally isolated it to a failed thermal fuse on one of the motor leads. These are designed to blow when the temperature exceeds a particular limit, but I have no reason to think mine was anywhere near that range when it blew. Anyway, replacing the fuse got the vacuum up and running again and I haven't had an issue with it since. Here's the part I purchased; yours will probably look similar, although you'll need to use the markings on it to determine what value to use for a replacement.

I do not have a Henry Vacuum, but if you are still having power issues there are some troubleshooting checks that you can do:

  • Make sure power cord is fully connected to power outlet
    • If outlet is a GFCI, also known as GFI, outlet; Make sure the breaker is not disconnected
  • Inspect power cord for any hard kinks, cuts, or anything that could potentially have broken the copper wire inside
  • Inspect for broken or loose power switch
  • Inspect internal wiring and PCB for broken connection, burnt components

Hopefully this helps!
