I think my Voluson S6 is overheating. We keep losing the probes (images no, but detection yes)
Have bought an external fan and things improved massively.
Do I need to replace the fan assembly possibly?

@robcollinson since it improved with increasing the airflow, I would suggest you at least checked the fan assembly and maybe a good internal dusting and cleaning. If that does not result in an improvement I would definitely consider replacing the fan unit. Use the service manuals located on this page General Electric Voluson S8 Voluson S6 to work on that. ******
