@tejpal89202 there are a few things that could cause this The most common one is a failing catalytic converter. It can also be caused by an exhaust leaks, or a bad downstream O2 sensor, intake air leakage etc. Use the 2014 Nissan Maxima Engine Controlchapter form the SM and go to page 304.
