@elliotmatoga sounds like a bad network card. Check the device manager in your OS and se if the Network card is still recognized. If so delete the old driver and install a new driver for it. If your device manager does not see the network adapter, you most likely will have to replace it.Since you haven't provided the exact model of your computer, the OS you're using, or what you've already tried, we can only give you a generic answer.
