Why is my laptop screen not working?

My laptop screen not working. I tried disconnecting on the cmos battery and disconnecting the battery then draining out all power for 40 seconds. Even after all this, nothing changed and my laptop`s screen is still black. What could be the problem?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Have you tried shining a light to the screen from an angle to see if you have image and maybe just no backlight?

Does the screen connect to the motherboard via a cable? Maybe it is just not plugged in well enough. Or maybe a failing GPU, if that is the case.

If you connect a screen (using VGA, HDMI or DisplayPort connector) to the laptop, and you see Windows (for example), and your laptop works, then it's most likely the back light.

If, when you turn on the laptop, it shows the manufacturers logo (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Toshiba, etc), maybe even the Windows 10 blue symbol, then goes black, then the problem is with Windows.
