CD not playing in only this CD player

Hello, i was gifted a cd player recently i think the brand is Durabrand. i have played quite a few CDs on it and they work perfectly. now i have a CD of my favorite album and i was so excited to play it, there is not even a single scratch, but when i put it in it just spun and the screen just blinked “ - - “ then stopped spinning and showed two zeros. i tested this exact CD in other CD players or my car and it works perfectly. i have CDs made around the same time and before and they work fine, i can’t figure out the issue.
