Why does the joy con detach off so easily?
Why does my Joy-Con detach so easily without pressing the button designed to separate it? I mean just pulling it
Is this a good question?

Hi!
That is most likely caused by the buckle locks which can be found inside the joy-cons.
These are made of plastic and causing it to break very easily. The rail is made of metal and this causes it.
The only thing you can do is to replace those buckle locks. Since this is very comon, you can buy metal buckle locks which last very long. I recommend to install new metal ones. They are not expensive at all.

I would definitely recommend metal buckle locks. They're sturdy and won't fail in a year or two even if you detach them every day. I've got them installed on my Joy-Cons & so far they've worked perfectly for a year of attaching/detaching
