No soldering involved as the power button has a connector to connect to the board.

Well, I'd say your best option is probably to take the phone apart and check to see if anything is obstructing the internal switch. If not, you'll probably have to replace the button. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that, nor does iFixit have a guide for it. But I'd say there's a good chance there's soldering involved, so if you don't know how to do that, you might want to find someone to do it for you. But anyway, good luck!
